Spear chucker
The political world is aflutter after a party insider referred to Senator McBane, known for his ability to get wind energy bills passed as a "greaser."
"He's a greaser for the wind lobby," the man said, "No doubt about it."
(The only problem with this analogy is that far *far* more people have ever heard the word "greaser" used for Hispanics than have ever heard the word "spear chucker". Though it seems that we must now be responsible for what we have never heard or thought before. It's not our own thought crimes that matter but the thought crimes of others.)

Personally, "greaser" in that context meant that he was bribing people. Greasing their palms for example.
So he was the guy that went to try and bribe folks for the wind lobby, was my take.
Maybe it is regional. I am very familiar with the term spear chucker as a racial slur, but the only thing I thought of in respect to greaser was a 1950s rock and roller! As I am a southerner, perhaps the history of local racism has something to do with it.

That's likely.
